Setting Up Your Trezor Wallet

  5. Backup Your Wallet: Trezor will generate a recovery seed. Write down this 12-24 word seed on the paper provided and keep it in a safe place. This is crucial for recovering your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.

Receiving Cryptocurrency

  1. Access Your Wallet: Navigate to the "Receive" tab in your Trezor Wallet interface.

  2. Verify Address on Device: Always verify the receiving address on your Trezor's screen by clicking the "Show on Trezor" button. This ensures the address hasn't been tampered with by malware.

  3. Copy the Address: Copy the receiving address to your clipboard and use it in the platform you're receiving the cryptocurrency from.

Sending Cryptocurrency

  1. Navigate to Send: In your Trezor Wallet interface, go to the "Send" tab.

  2. Enter Recipient Address: Paste the recipient's address. Always double-check this address.

  3. Enter Amount: Type in the amount of cryptocurrency you wish to send.

  4. Confirm and Send: Review your transaction details. Confirm the transaction on your Trezor device by physically pressing the confirm button on the device.

Updating Firmware

  1. Backup Your Wallet: Before updating, ensure you have your recovery seed noted and secured.

  2. Connect Your Trezor: Plug your Trezor into your computer and go to the Trezor Wallet website.

  3. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Select the device you wish to update and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
